It’s the plaice to be! Harry Ramsden’s opening at New Brighton this weekend

Fish and chip shop chain Harry Ramsden’s is opening in New Brighton this weekend.

The opening marks the return of the popular fish restaurant chain to Merseyside as the chain adopts a new style, which includes table service, a fresh design and interior.

Centrally located in Marine Point next door to Morrison’s, the restaurant is perfectly positioned to enjoy its world famous fish and chips and take a leisurely stroll along the Promenade.

The new opening not only features the brand’s ‘new look’ but also a delicious new menu, including breakfast, afternoon tea, a selection of delicious deserts, plus the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal.

But if fish and chips is what you’re after, you won’t be disappointed. All cooked in Harry’s ‘special secret recipe batter’, the restaurant has plenty of options from haddock, cod and plaice, all served with chips, mushy peas, lemon and bread and butter.

With over 40 outlets throughout the UK, the New Brighton restaurant is the latest in a series of new openings for the chain, which began back in 1928 by Harry Ramsden himself.

The 1750 sq ft unit across two floors provides seating for 60 diners, with customers also given the option to take-away and tuck in to their fish and chips along the Promenade.

Harry Ramsden’s is the latest restaurant opening at New Brighton’s thriving Marine Point complex, with Bella Italia and United Kitchen also opening in the last few months.
