New independent restaurant United Kitchen opens at New Brighton’s Marine Point
Marine Point, the £60m regeneration project by Promenade Estates, has welcomed a new restaurant to New Brighton this week.
The brand new independent restaurant, United Kitchen, will offer contemporary British dining in the heart of Wirral’s buzzing Marine Point development.
The restaurant is the brain child of Ania Smith, originally from Wroclaw, Poland. Ania previously owned a coffee shop in New Brighton and has been working with Promenade Estates to create her new project, United Kitchen.
United Kitchen will be a contemporary British restaurant, featuring modern cuisine and original twists on classic dishes. The menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner options and will be offering a special Christmas menu during the festive period.
The modern, stylish restaurant is the perfect destination for any occasion, whether it’s a business lunch, a special night out, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee or a cocktail at the bar.
United Kitchen will also be a dog friendly venue, so it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after a long walk on New Brighton’s beach.
Work began on site at the end of August, with the independent restaurant taking up a 3,000 sq ft unit, next to Pizza Express.
Daniel Hynd, director of Promenade Estates which owns and operates Marine Point, says: “We’re delighted to welcome United Kitchen to the Marine Point family. Our aim for New Brighton was to create a high quality leisure destination for families, and the addition of United Kitchen will complement the great restaurant offering already available at the development.
“At Promenade Estates, we are always looking to help local independents establish themselves at our developments, and United Kitchen will be a perfect fit alongside the likes of Caffe Cream, which has done so well in New Brighton.
Ania Smith, owner of United Kitchen, says: “I am very happy and proud to own an independent restaurant at Marine Point. Promenade Estates delivered on their promise to build this site for local people and for the benefit of the local area, and I am proof of that.
“At United Kitchen, we will select local, fresh and seasonal ingredients, putting a modern twist on classic dishes, alongside surprising inspirations. Modern cuisine is changing, and it’s about time for British food to catch up.”
