Promenade Estates and brownfield specialist BXB have marked the latest phase in their growing partnership with the sale of a site to a leading regional builders’ merchant.

The partners have disposed of their 4.39 acre Cameron’s Yard holding in the Golden Triangle Industrial Estate in Widnes to Beesley & Fildes.  It will become the firm’s twelfth location.

“This was a neat and quick transaction and provides us with a pleasing exit,” said BXB director Gary Goodman.  “We are working hard on our Thornton Cleveleys application and assessing new development opportunities in line with our ‘brownfield first’ strategy and this sale allows us to concentrate our firepower.”

Commenting on the acquisition John Beesley of Beesley & Fildes said:

“We are pleased to have acquired this existing industrial site for the extension of our business for a distribution and administration centre to support our expanding business operation in the north west region.”

Northern Land Agency advised Promenade and BXB on the sale, with Bermans providing legal support. David Gwynn of WEM advised the purchasers, with Hill Dickinson providing legal advice.  The terms of the deal were undisclosed.
